With these prices, no one should be surprised Apple is selling better nowadays.

Android was about competition and better prices, but since LG went out, it seems things have gotten worse

rizki1, 07 Mar 2023even if the Helio G35 is in it, people still buy it. Becaus... moreFailed jokes.

There is a Samsung phone with Helio G35, its Galaxy A04e and costs 110 Euro.

Why samsung need to reduce 0,2" inch screen size on A54??

DarlingYext, 07 Mar 2023Double overpriced. Scamsung strikes again!Regional pricing is key factor for global sales. European prices of Samsung devices are always relatively high. Last year Poco X4 Pro, which had a 280 EUR price tag in EU launched more expensive than 370 EUR A33 in Turkey. Converted price for A33 was ~420 EUR, Poco X4 Pro was ~540 EUR.

ferwxc, 07 Mar 2023Last year, did Samsung launched A54? Typo in the article.

€520 for A54 128GB to €950 for S23 128GB is a hugely signficant price gap. I still don't understand why Samsung axe the A7 and S FE lineup. With such an enormous gap, anybody can fill in with various flagship killers or even true flagships like the Google Pixel 7/7 Pro.

                        Double overpriced.

                        Scamsung strikes again!

So glad I bought the a52s recently for £270 new still beats the a53 and A54 on specs and price and will still get android 14 and possibly 15 (if lucky) but will still be ok for at least 3 more years regardless. Manufacturer's think it's ok to put out inferior models and call them upgrades!
Edit: I've just looked on Amazon UK and the prices for the a52s have gone up because folks know that people want these models over the newer ones. The same thing happened with the Poco X3 NFC and Pro because the newer models were worse than the previous models

ooh, this not gonna sell well...

520..... 520€? This is absolutely ridiculous, ABSOLUTELY.

even if the Helio G35 is in it, people still buy it. Because it's Samsung.

Galaxy a52s was 420 euros when it was released, its better thrn a54 and a34 in almost every way. Better SoC, better battery life, wifi 6, 3.5mm jack. Shame on Samsung for downgrading their midrange smartphones.
