Google probably harvest a shit ton of data from each Pixel, so its not like they are losing money off from them. They also probably corner people into buying their services.

Googles way of doing things. "we dont want any leaks or pictures of our unreleased products but we will have employees pull it out on public transport at rush hour and make it stupidly obvious its an unreleased device"
Like the episode on south park when cathulu gets released... "oopsie, im sorry... Sorry" also why is the person that gets a picture of the unreleased device always seem to be taking a picture from either A. A potato with a camera lens attached or B. The original iphone? So set up and obvious what they are doing.

All have tons of bugs as well as hardware issues .

Many companies do this, even in the public world around someone else. Considering that there are leaked (unofficial?) renders, patents, etc. this shouldn't be seen a surprising.
