Android users are only found scrolling in their launcher screen endlessly, too shame to open any applications to show the lag, they keep asking for widgets and live wallpaper for eye candy and toggle for wifi /3g so not to get battery drain. The only app they interested is the geek benchmarks and antutu, to show off to friends how blazingly fast their cpu is .. but confuse by the jerking and lagging.. and deny its lag.. saying the next KLP will fix lag or install custom rom. They worship their android OS for being open source and free, but in fact is only 23% open.. the rest is close source.. and having BIG Brother spying all over their every actions, like google now...

They optimized OS for specific hardware. Android on the other hand is running on Davik VM with fragmented hardware and handling by a search company.

Most android apps are just patches to fix the laggy OS..
Launcher laggy .. no problem install patches from play store!
Facebook laggy.. no problem install third party widgets to hide the shame of the lag!
Contacts laggy.. no problem install third party Go SMS ...
No wonder they have so many apps compared to windows phone 8 where every app is good and important. Lumia works out of the box.

But dude, the point is, you have to compromise with your warranty for using custom rom. You don't get it out of the box. I own a Omnia w and my wife owns a galaxy s3. I must say, I have to perform all kinds of crap to keep the s3 optimized like clearing the apps, cleaning the ram, etc. And still it lags while opening contacts, message, etc. You can even feel the lack of smoothness when u scroll thru settings. On the contrary, I don't do absolutely anything like this on my Omnia. Its just super smooth out of he box. Surely when I need apps and customization, I will go with android but when it comes to user experience, iphone and WP are the winners.

well nokia is the best in hardware thats true but i must say windows os for mobile is just boring..
only 7 days of use and i realized that.
Windows os for mobile is a big mistake by Microsoft.
Well i stil prefer Symbian os over it..

regarding wp8, u got 'enough of it' on the desktop? well, the phone experience is different to the desktop's, and it's MUCH better. try using wp8 for a few days, you'll love it
