The competition in the flagship segments need... morethat's the problem, even if they offer these spectacular phones to europe and etc, people won't buy it; mostly since people know chinese brands (xiaomi,vivo,oppo etc) as brands that make cheap phones,not like iphone or samsung where people have grown a view on them as ''luxury brands''. i am not saying these phones will undoubtedly flop when they get released in europe, i am just saying that even if they did, pretty much only tech-savvy people would care about it, so brands don't take the risks of releasing their phones to new places. but what do you know, maybe this phone would be the best phone of 2023 if it was released globally

What a shame. The competition in the flagship segments needs to be seriously increased as the S23 ultra is by far the biggest monster of a phone this year. Samsung made the best device of all time only because they realised competition was around the corner with similar offerings. I had a vivo x70 pro plus up until a couple of weeks ago because one, android 13 took a hit to the battery life on that device, plus no security updates since November 2022. I decided to go back to Samsung after 10 years and it genuinely is next level. Quick with updates, true software support and true innovation on their devices. AND, they finally ditched the exynos this time with TSMC manufacturing the 8 gen 2 chips. The battery, performance and optimization on s23 series is beyond epic.
But, the market needs more phones globally to compete with them in all apsects otherwise it's just gonna be another monopoly and we all will be taken for a ride. Oppo, Vivo, and other brands need to step up now and realise there's a massive market waiting for them in europe. Improve your goddamn service when it comes to software offerings and you will be taking over, trust me. Huawei was there at one point until the powers that be took them off the chess board.

I wonder if Oppo's global sales are even worth considering any big global launch. China is such a big market, no chinese brand really needs to sell internationally. (China has nearly 1.440.000.000 people living in it)

Wow , that's some huge camera module not looking good like its predecessor but that's kinda expected with new three huge sensors
I am quite surprised that it will remain china exclusive in contrast to 13u which is going globally , disappointed tbh oppo sell their devices at sky high prices and then winder why they aren't selling well that's if latter is the reason for exclusive thing

Do you think xiaomi is stupid to sell phone for 1600 euros (256gb) overseas when same phone can sell in China for 1000 euros?
Vivo has given imx989 to 90 Pro to avoid selling Pro+ outside China.
Xiaomi is doing same.
