What so special about them to have 120hz AMOLED screens ? Like it's the same type of dumb news title like the 5000 or 6000mAh battery that is like only feature on low end phones we see news about in here.

120hz AMOLED is like a standard screen for middle class phones. Even budget phones have it now.

Never mind that these A series phones have got so expensive that they have lost there point.
A4x series use to be more compact and cheap as under 250 euro phones and they stopped making them after like A42. Well A42 went large screen so it lost it's point of that series. Now A34 and 54 will soon fallow as there price is too high to make sense. It's better to go with other brands like from China that give you SD 8 Gen 1 for that price or the 8+ gen 1

Noodle, 15 Mar 2023I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, should I upgrade to this? Wa... moreYea, you should. Via NanoReview's smartphone comparison tool, the A54 does slightly better in GeekBench 5 (Multi) but lags by 30k points in AnTuTu 9. You also get OIS, 120hz (adaptive), bigger battery cell IP67 and 4K selfie camera.

The 1380 doesn't beat the 780G by a long shot but it's still the same performance.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 202378mm width on A34 and 76mm on A54. What is Samsung thinking... morerather than width / size between A and M series, i think they more focusing on phone thickness for sleek-look purpose

based what i read somewhere M series is millennial, which targeting younger people that many asking for more battery life

so A is samsung mid-ranger, M is also mid-ranger but even toned down with bigger battery
such as display all M series i know using pls rather than amoled in a-series

Again. A macro lens on A54 is just an insult.

JOE1, 15 Mar 2023May I ask you where did you get your S21 FE from at that price ? I bought S21 FE 6/128 for my wife for 450€. This was the best price possible at the end of 2022. Sub 300€ was probably used, gray market or stolen.

If 778 gets tested by geekbench 6.0, its score gonna increase easily 300-400.

Never understood the psychology behind why low end phones have to be bigger, while mid & high end phones are comfortable with sub 155 mm heights and sub 72 mm width. I'm unable to find a single phone from reputable brands like Samsung or Nokia that is a mid-low range but with just right dimensions. The growing phone sizes year after year is a mess I cannot deal with anymore.

I really hoped A34 will be better in dimensions, but my hopes are shattered now. Not sure if I will be able to buy A54 or S21 FE.
