So much for "pro-grade camera" when there's no 3x zoom telephoto camera like the A72 4G. 🤦
Also, €490 for 6/128 might sound alright, but I won't hold my breath about the competition.

I'll praise the A54 for using an 12MP ultrawide instead of the 8 like every single other midrangers and flagship killers in the market.

In real life scenarios, it was overheating and battery was less than average. Which is bad, because majority of people bought that model for heavy usage, not just casual usage.
Maybe, that is one of the reasons Samsung didn't release an S22 FE.

patrik, 15 Mar 2023Galaxy A54 cost same as Xiaomi 13 Lite in the Czech republi... moreTrue, and in some stores you can find last year Galaxy A53 (6Gb/128Gb variant) for as low as 7590czk (like new, with 24 months warranty). That's roughly 320EUR. Which is very nice.
People should take in consideration also these facts, when complaining about Samsung prices, as these go down really quickly. At least the people in EU countries.
In comparison, iPhone prices don't go down as fast.

So comparing A52 with its successors, I would say it's upgrading generation by generation.

Samsung could've used Dimensity 8200 for galaxy A54 and Dimensity 1300 for galaxy A34. The A series is deteriorating.

... moreIn gpu yes, In cpu its huge upgrade because it has 4 cortex A78 core instead of 2. Thats why 1380 cpu is 40% faster than 1280.
Also gpu we dont have much information, i see some reports its Mp5 instead of Mp4, so maybe gpu will have decent upgrade too.

Chshahzad, 15 Mar 2023Still my A52s rocks 🤠🤠So glad I opted to buy A52s recently as both A53 and A54 are downgrades in chip department and have smaller screens too as well as missing headphone jacks. And yes I realise android 14 will be last os update but I rocked a moto X on android 6 for about 5 years few years back and only ditched it when my banking app got unsupported so the A52s is gonna be good for a minimum of at least 3-4 years yet. Only thing I'm not keen on is the painfully slow charging but can live with it as rest of phone is excellent for the money (£270 at time in UK)

Not worth the prices. Phones are okay tho but the price...
