The P8 looks gorgeous. The size good. Though been holding out since P5 for something comparable in size. Ill see when it comes out or hold for the 9.
Visor is becoming nicely refined.

Size is not concern but lot of heating is problem in pixel phones 🤳.... Hope pixel will fix it in P8

nice compact design. I hope they didn't sacrifice on battery capacity though.
And hopefully they will put the volume buttons above the power button next time.

blue, 15 Mar 2023In that case S23 is much better.S23 is indeed better but it's also more pricier with its ~950€ price tag versus expected 600€ for the new Pixel 8. Anyways, I'm pretty satisfated with the roumored dimensions of the Pixel 8 as I prefer more compact phones and I really wish that every major phone company has at least one "compact-ish" phone in their offerings.

It seems some incorrect information regarding screen and body height ratio. Generally (with today's bezels), the body height (in mm) is almost double the height of screen (2mm = 0.1). So, if the body height is reduced to 5 mm (150 mm), then Pixel 8 screen should be around 6.1 inch. Which also makes sense as usually manufactures do not take big risk of changing successor phone screen with a difference of almost 0.5 inch. They usually make a difference of 0.1 or 0.2 inch for successor phone.
