actually lg can beats samsung in market share
if lg would release their phone in over 200 markets like samsung doing...
lg sold over 58 million phones in just 50 markets
samsung sold over 300 million phones in over 200 markets.

I dont care for LG updates. heck, i wont even use LG's interface Ill just slap on a Cyamongem Mod and place whatever I want using root acess. What I do want is a Full Hd Android phone with a QUALITY size baterry. and will you look at that Lg optimus G pro Is a Galaxy note 2 (better than S3 In my books) Without a pen and with its battery *-* you gotta love that :p... exept no pen :( but cyamongen mod gives no pen suppor so im sorta happy for that u_u

In 40 days after sales started LG shouts "hey! we sold a phone!!!" (when compared to Samsung sales during first week after launch of another flagship device).

A bit of disappointing because Optimus G Pro should have the latest Jelly Bean 4.2.2 instead of 4.1.1.

But compare it with the Note II instead. The Note II only managed to get to 1 million devices in Korea after about 4 months of sales. Even with declining numbers, the G Pro can get quite close to that. So yeah, not the best ever figures, but for such a device, quite good.
And yes, I am aware with the high level of smartphone penetration in Korea, but not all are of the massive size like a Note II or G Pro. Most go for a more moderate size device.

Iskander, 02 Apr 2013Eventhough I have no doubt that Samsungs SIII and soon SIV ... moreI agree that it is not the worst but, galaxy s3 had shifted 4 million in south korea alone, by end of august 2012, which makes it sell by nearly 3/1 but at current rates which will no doubt slow down rapidly now with the impending release of the s4, which does make the numbers posted very average :-)people over there over love their tech, it is also one of the most sophisticated mobile markets in the world, and actually 85% of the population of 50 MILLION own a smartphone which is a huge rate

With some rough calculation of 75% of the population buying such expensive phones (I seriously doubt these sort of devices are bought for up to 4yo's for example) and taking in time it's in 1/9th of a year, where many such device is sold on a 2 year contract or bought to be used for at least such amount of time, you easily have 20-25% of the total market buying a phone in that period of time. Nothing shameful imo.

I know it has 32GB built in memory and support upto 64GB memory card.
Do you meant LG actually sticking in 32GB memory card inside the phone instead of memory chip,just like most China's tablets and mobile phones?
