    Are you sure it's Amlogic S805X2?
    I thought it was S905Y4!

    If it's S805, no way to choose it...hardware video decoder doesn't support 4k/AV1...it's an obsolete streaming machine, like Apple TV!
    If it's S905Y4 or S905X4, then it's ok!

    Can't understand why GSMArena didn't test codec on such a device

            i have FHD version of this stick and it has the latest android update available. but, it has serious wifi connectivity issues. local xiaomi customer support gave a fix with updating the local time manually. however,it breaks after every few weeks. internet is full of similar complaints. this is a feature rich device but, becomes really unstable after a few months of use.

              I live in France I bought the Xiaomi Stick 4k on amazon like 4 months ago, it is a very good device but there is something I don't understand, in yiur review the remote have disney plus button and apps button and it is running google tv interface mine is android tv interface and only have 2 buttons, the netflix and prime video

                I don’t know about other countries, but here the Android TV based Chromecast goes for €39,99 for the regular one and €59,99 for the 4K one.

                From what I see 4999 INR is just above 56 euro at the moment.
