I'm afraid that other brands will use the SD685 a LOT, Snapdragon is not good at low end or mid now mediatek is king.

Never bothered to get new sim to use 5G.
My 4G sometimes reach 100Mbps, way more than enough when I am away from home.
For me, it is not worth the impact of battery endurance.

In this price and unstable economic, vanilla 12 much sensible choice because Snapdragon, and 4G. 5G still sucks in my country. Maybe in 2025 or so the 5G it is good enough

I like the overall package Xiaomi managed to put together on this one (both 4G and 5G models), but I find removing the stereo speakers a bummer. I think they gave priority to the screen (which is amazing), and thought probably most people listen to multimedia content with earphones, so they could save on the extra speaker. Starting prices are a bit on the high side though, but knowing Xiaomi, their mid-range phone prices will become a better value very soon.
