Changing OSes is not easy, but art version not being available is adding fuel to the fire.
Getting even non global phone, which however got google services, is actually easier.
Better specs and low price would be a recipe for mass of people going to that OS, but since it would be impossible, it is impossible.

How Huawei still able to sell expensive crap in Europe is mystery to me. Without Google service to have a phone is same as having a brick, well expensive brick in this case :)

UDC quality is up to screen manufacturer, not client. Huawei would make zero difference.

The more things engineers and scientists experiment with, more ideas they get for what can be added or made. But if the investment and focus on it is not there, those things will never happen. But focusing on R&D also means burning money, which i believe samsung and apple can easily afford but they care more about share prices and investors.
