Report: Apple MR headset on track for June launch, top Apple execs got final preview

                    Never had much interest towards these VR/AR glasses, but really interested to see what they have done with this tech and what is their killer app and point of releasing such a product, when market shows very small interest towards AR/VR overally.

                      This is destined to fail. Tim Cook didn't even give em enough time to perfect it, instead decided he wanted it out as soon as possible.

                          I can see this getting hailed as a major milestone in personal tech by Apple lovers, while most people will just see a pointless $3k device for iPhone users to Facetime their friends/coworkers with while bumping into one another/getting run over by cars.

                            Isn't this basically like Microsoft HoloLens but over 7 years too late?

                              I cant see this doing well at all. Cumbersome, bad battery and insane pricing, i can only see either hardcore rich apple fans buying it or maybe companies buying it for tech demos or something. Way too late to this type of market and is just isnt practical. Shame really
