I don't use the selfie camera and yet it's there infront of my face in a cutout everyday but i don't complain about them even tho selfie cameras have always been absolute garbage

          Good price, good smartphone but crappy bands. Xiaomi intentionally blocks 4G Bands B20 and B7 (very important for Europe), and when they release the same phone for international market with B20 and B7 the double the price! No wonder Xiaomi had 20% revenue drop in last quarter.

Phones comes with plenty fast storage these days, SD cards are obsolete tech offering space but crappy speeds. You cannot store apps in SD cards or high resolution videos, it's pretty much useless these days, people need to catch up with times.

The a78 cores are inherently more efficient than a710s, plus the 8100 doesn't have a prime core, even geekerwan says this. I never specified GPU, you're picking at straws.

                        Even Nanoreview's Antutu show MASSIVE CPU advantage for 7+Gen2 with 255K CPU score for the Snapdragon 7Gen2 and only 205K for D8200. Nanoreview Geekbench show a 23% single core advantage for Snapdragon 7Gen2 and 1% Multi core advantage vs D8200.

                        The SD7+Gen2 hands down is one of the most powerful chips out there. The 7+Gen2 has BOTH a more POWERFUL CPU and GPU. The only way for Mediatek to beat this is make a nerfed version of their D9000,9000+ and 9200.

                            It's preety good tbh, SD7+ Gen 2 (from SD8+ Gen 1). That's why Xiaomi put this way since Poco X5 Pro (Redmi Note 12 Speed), then to the Note 12 Turbo this time.

                            It is because Qcom SD7+ Gen 2 has 4nm TSMC fabrication process to reduce overheating in sustained performace, taking advantage with Xiaomi to put the cooling system to the chipset. Same approach to it's predecesor ofc.

                            Hope we'll see the the competitive price, and which I choose is “Ice Feather White” once its available.

I saw stress test screenshot reddit this soc had better sustained score than s22 (sd 8 gen 1) and rog phone 6 (sd 8+ gen 1)

                              It score around 7000 in 3dmark wildlife, 8G1 and 8+G1 score around 9000 and 10k, but most phones with those soc throttle to 60% perfomance when stressed.

                              If you view synthetic benchmarks like Geekbench, antuntu, normal 3dmark etc you wont get the point.
