SD Gen2 is the way to go, but please no more Samsung, we had enough of them.
MediaTek is doing excellent work, like AMD in the old days.

IpsDisplay, 28 Mar 20237+gen 2 is good 👍 basically it's an underclocked 8+gen... moreonly CPU , in term of GPU it's even slower than 8 gen1 (as they claim 2x performance of 7 gen1).
The phone looks pretty good for the prices but sadly optics are way behind specially 8MP UW and selfie.

IpsDisplay, 28 Mar 2023I didn't say the GPU isn't weaker... But you know... moreD8100 performs slightly better than 888 but noticeably lower than 8G1 and D8100 is not mid range,its Upper mid-range/Flagship killer category so it performs accordingly.
Mediatek has 9000 series as flagship,8000 series as Upper midrange,7000 as proper midranger.
Qualcomm has 8 series as flagship & 7 series as midrange.QC never made any upper midrange chip so the Performance gap between their flagship & midrange has been huge.so it's near impossible that QC would give 8G1 performance to their 7 series so soon especially in GPU & Modem department.
