Sorry "Samsung" your product is still not compete with Micromax and other phones like Karboon, UMI,wammy coz your processors and graphics are too low in their compare..even Qualcom snapfdragon 8625q is not give better battery performance too.. for detail of comparision you can check below link

But I admit they ... moreHave to disagree w/ your POV. Filling every single hole in the market aren't always a good idea when it comes to Samsung's current leading positon. Look at what happened to Nokia when that's what exactly they did last time and that was when there's a lot less aggressive Chinese/ Taiwanese OEMs compared to today? These OEMs can now put out quality top end droids e.g and the only thing that's slowing them down from gaining on Samsung are their lack of international presence. Once that happens then all bets are off.
I'd leave the low end - low mid segment to the Chinese if I were Samsung. It's smarter to cut potential losses NOW when you're enjoying the top market position rather than later.
What Samsung is doing right now dilutes the Galaxy brand and further stretch their own resources in keeping up w/ future fw/sw updates across too many devices, in turn raising the risks of running foul to a loyal user base.

Downside is, they dont really have a phone that stands out for its looks(like say xperia Z or htc one).

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another 'nice' 5 mp camera Smartphone... why, Samsung, why it can't be at least a 8 mp camera...? Why you can't simply just release a DECENT Dual Sim Smartphone...?! The rest of the specs are finally alright for a Dual Sim Smartphone(to be released worldwide, and not only in China or India... and yes, i'm in Brazil, and all companies seems to refuse to release what people from DIVERSES parts of the world want: A Dua Sim Smartphone with DECENT specs, overally speaking, and the 5 mp camera is a straight shoot in the feet), only the 5 mp camera is making me not buying this phone (... it seems that i'll have to go BLUe this time, sigh...)

Gut's telling me there's a huge typo in there. Yeah, right there, around "quad core CPU". The 1.2ghz variety with 203 graphics. Does such model exist? Budget-minded GPU and quad-core low-performance energy-saving CPU combo. Just doesn't make sense to me, dual-core 1.7ghz will beat it in both performance and power saving.

First of all, I'm not a Samsung fan boy.
But I admit they have excellent marketing strategy, filling all empty holes they could find.
Bigger screen, entry level processor, and appearance just like high-end "Samsung Galaxy SIII", it will make extra income & more sales, coz not everyone know the difference & they won't even care about snapdragon 200 performance compared to snapdragon 600.
