Anonymous, 30 Mar 2023You get longer support at least.I think what people meant to say is that the A52s has better hardware than A54, and thus if Samsung were in another universe to release the A52s (or an upgraded version of it, who would have thought that is possible) today with 5 years of updates, it would generate more interest and enthusiasm than the A54.
Or another way to look at it. At the time A52s was released with full software support, it was a better deal than A54 is today. The value of the goods at the same price went down from 2 years ago. Reviewers may be quick to blame inflation, but it has more to do with supply and demand for the components. We are sitting on massive component inventory right now, the market condition for buyers is actually better than 2 years ago, so you should expect more value for the same money.

After S10 they just downgraded everything with every early release and only focusing with improvements on Ultra models by charging arm and leg. Samsung lost it since S10 producing overpriced garbage, pretty much like Apple.

Sure, old SD, but 845/855 didnt overheat as the current models and since Android 10, not much has happened in terms of actual upgrades to the OS. more like downgrades to make it behave more like iOS

Huh. That's about how much I paid for my fully specd imported A52s. It also included a 15w charger adapter, case in the box, OEM unlocking so I can use custom roms, Headphone jack, faster processor, nicer looking bezels with firmer corners that aren't as rounded, plastic back that doesn't shatter even when you have a case on it, all for just sacrificing 5G and a few 4G bands in the USA. 100% worth it. Since the A54 DOESN'T have a headphone jack, I think that the S20 FE 5G would be much more worth the money. I watched a YT video comparing the A73 and A54 and the A54 stuttered so much more. If you want to pay more and get less, this is the phone for you.
