[deleted post]X40 is for China only so it's China pricing. This is the European pricing. This price difference is normal for Chinese brands selling in Europe

Also that battery is perfectly fine, if you think that SOC is power hungry you have absolutely no clue, it's one of the most efficient SOCs in years

Currently using Moto g71 5g for the past 6+ months and it's super value for money. It exceeded all my expectations in terms of stock Android experience, battery backup, even camera after the updates! Moto seems to be serious about their comeback this time.. kudos guys!

Currently there is no good alternative to samsung atleast in india . Hopefully this will be the alternative to samsung

I expect very good battery life thanks to SD8g2 and the 1080p screen, the 125w charger is a cherry on top. IP rating, Dex-like mode, thinkshield are all good features 👍.

Now only if they get the software support right, this will sell like hotcakes.

I'd be surprised if this phone got a better battery endurance rating than the Edge 30 Pro despite having a smaller battery. If it does, that shows how great the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC has been.

                          no CDMA support!

Anonymous, 04 Apr 20231440p, MicroSD and 3.5mm jack for £800? sounds like 2018, y... moreand how much of that is going to be used?

high brightness: can't be used manually, is only invoked via auto brightness and isn't needed most of the time regardless

5G: not everybody has 5G available and it's not guaranteed to be faster. It's for QoL. Lots of people turn it off and save battery.

Wi-Fi 6e/7: again, how many people are rocking 6e or even 7? People don't upgrade their routers till they die.

powerful SoCs: edge cases if you are talking about RAW speed.

huge camera sensors: nice but no fine detail. they want us to shoot in pitch black it seems.

big storage options: could be /bigger/ with MicroSD available on the side.

bluetooth earphones with ANC: again, another OPTION available. Bluetooth and headphone jack are not mutally exclusive.

If only they could improve their software updates and camera software, I'm still more inclined to buy this Edge 40 Pro over the OnePlus 11.

This is what I call a flagship, better than most Android flagships, if you're looking for periscope lens, 1440p display and big main camera sensor it's an ultra flagship, and you'll have to pay more for it obviously.
