actually pretty awesome especially had it been a smaller size, for someone like me who doesn't play games natively (besides cloud streaming) and just browsing and watching content, the chip and such doesn't matter or bare any major importance, still having a jack and sd slot is dope too, it's why i been preferring sony's phones

Awful devices, besides the decent design there is nothing appealing to be found, not when others simply offer more.

It's definitely a marketing gimmick that GSMArena probably shouldn't be highlighting, but I do not how how this could slow the UI and camera down.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2023it's a bad chip... 1080p/30 in 2023 at that price point?Ironically, the previous Snapdragon 690 SoC can record video in 4K/30fps. I cannot understand why Qualcomm impose a video recording resolution limit for the 695.

Dear GSMArena, please stop worshipping and highlighting the extended memory/RAM feature. It makes the camera lag and also slows down the UI in some places.

Not sure if I would take this phone over the Sony Xperia 10 iv. You can get a secondhand unit for around similar price, and you get OLED screen and a proper camera hardware with ultrawide and telephoto sensor. Plus, the Xperia 10 iv battery performance is an absolute beast!

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2023it's a bad chip... 1080p/30 in 2023 at that price point?4k recording is so overrated and majority of people don't use it. And it really doesn't matter if the camera is bad and most of phones in this price segment have unimpressive cameras anyway. If all you can spend on phone is 300€ then you definitely don't have anything 4k in your home, I can bet. If you want true 4k recording you need to spend over 500€.

The real disadvantage of this cpu in camera department is that it only supports 30fps and no 60fps which is a lot more useful feature. And that we don't have OIS and instead have useless macro and bad ultrawide sensors at this price point. That's what people should complain about, not some gimmick 4k recording.

Not that different from last year's model. Why even make a new model if it's just going to be made on a gimmick? 108MP is good, but ultimately what matters is the post processing and OnePlus has always been Meh at that. But to be fair, that 65W bump from 33W is a noticeable difference.

And please let the 695 die. It's an okay chipset with arbitrary limitations like the 1080p@60fps video just because it is a 6XX series chip and Qualcomm needs to differentiate between their products.

How many years of software support will this get?
