But samsung is still doing good sales even with mediocre battery tech. It her companies are more than better.. upto 120w and 50w(wirless) is enough.

50W of wireless charging is not bad, but getting stuck there? why only Xiaomi and Honor have 50+ Watts of wireless charging?

Precisely because other manufacturers have no balls to go global with their foldable offerings (fear of us sanctions, I suppose).

No competition=no need to spend on r&d=less money spent=profit.

Forget the fact Samsung controls this market. Forget the fact the Vivo fold is not offered globally. Forget the fact Samsung has the 2nd largest market share for foldables in China and Vivo isn't even among the top 3. Forget the fact that flip foldables are more popular than book folds and competing flips do not have the same hardware advantage over the Flip that the book foldables "might" have over the Z Fold. We can overlook all of those things because they can change. They might be changing as I write this.

Here is what you overlooked. Samsung can also improve their hardware.

Didn't the previous Vivo foldable have two under display fingerprint scanners?

And it will weigh like a brick.
Soon they'll come with not pouches but carrying bags.
