Also cause console lifetime is around 7 years then all games for next 7 years need to be optimized for these console standards in hardware so PC gamers have a problem with there powerful computers but games from ancient history as all games are like converted from consol port to windows and not made to run on pc first with specifically made for run and use all the modern advancing hardware as they dont want to strip the games to run on console so cause of the market sake sold more games on different platforms matter and consoles come out with new hardware like every after 7 years. There is large market for xbox and playstation
With mobile phones the problem is also that there are lots of phones in the market that are in Antutu v9 score around 100-200k range so they cant make games that benefit from the better quality in games as they want the people who are in the Antutu v9 score 100-200k range and up to like 400k range that is probably most of there customer base. Flaghip phones are from like 600k-1.3M range Like S22 is around 800k and S23 is around 1.2M
Google Pixel 7 series is around 750k and iphone 14 around same as S22 series
All these flagship that would be good for gaming are just useless as they cost too much.
Gaming phones need to be in the price range of 150 to 400 euro so the CPU/GPU combo is built more for the GPU as you need GPU more for gaming then you need good CPU for it.

when Samsung finished teir colab and ge their gpu result . Qualcomm already left them in the dust when they use nuvia core for cpu not based ARM.

I wish they'd just bin Exynos for good. My S23+ is so much better than previous generations thanks to a Snapdragon processor.

We will see true potential when they anounce laptop Cpu and clock it over 1ghz, probably its going to supass even rdna 3.

There used to be a lot of games available for both, console and handhelds when these things first came out. (Nintendo had a line-up of portables DS, 3DS etc. And I had a few PSPs and other such handhelds) Now it's all just console (PS or Xbox) for good gaming. Mobile processors are good enough for a lot better quality gaming than what exist currently but there aren't any good games available. Pretty sure older classics like gta 4 or many NFS games that released earlier for PC can be ported to mobile but guess it's all about profits today which is perhaps more thru consoles and in app purchases, online multiplayer etc. I believe mobile gaming has a lot of potential and can be as popular as consoles but due to lack of interest from developers it isn't getting much attention there
I'm even willing to spend a thousand on a good gaming phone but that isn't worth it just to play mobile COD and PUBG

I can see why they wants to use Radeon Graphics... Because their competitors Mediatek is trying to use Nvidia GPUs and Snapdragon already has Radeon/Adreno Graphics.....I think if they really want to this Collab successful they really to use Radeon Graphics to more chips thus developer can optimize Radeon Architecture if they're gonna realise I phone with 1 Chip that has Radeon Graphics developer won't gonna bother optimizing it .....because RDNA2 based Xclipse 920 had a lot potential to be great...but for optimization problem it's outperformed by 8 gen 1....

There are some mobile games with good graphics or immersive gameplay. But not enough. And I think this is the fault of the game developers, not because the performance is not there. Too many micro transactions and in app purchases, just for the sake of profit. And less gameplay.
I miss the 90's and the 2000's. Those were really good times for gaming. Now, we have the technology, but not the heart.

Snapdragon + Adreno
All these make more sense in gaming handhelds / tablet, but no, we get 6.5" tiny devices which throttle even on basic tasks.

So, that means we could expect again Exynos chipsets in future Samsung S series?
Well, guess I need to buy a S23 series phone and not wait for S24.
Then again, maybe Samsung will surprise us this time. In the past Exynos chipsets were actually better than SD ones.

Rockstar hasn't released any game for mobile post SA. Need For Speed hasn't seen any major release either. Forza, Crew, RDR etc all are only available on consoles leaving games like Candy Crush for mobile. I doubt anyone wants to play that on best graphics settings. Mobile gaming is DEAD if there are no good titles to play
