I had a much better experience with Samsung and in few months i'll actually switch to samsung so i can NEVER EVER think of a bug or issues or worry about stability again.
Praise Xiaomi for their high specs but those specs are useless without optimized software, proven multiple times.
You're acting like Samsung can't handle anything for many years, like it's some sort of a beginner company. Please.

Xiaomi is way better than Apple or Samsung at least Ultra nmodel and even most midrangers because for a lower price they always output better specced device.
Lack of the updates is problem but nothing major.
Good phones can handle everything even withut updates.
Know many my customers with phones which not get any updates for several years and the phone is still working as a brand new.

I acknowledge that iOS is much more limited, but the fluidity outshines MiUI. Updates are more reliable, and it looks slightly better than MiUI (both are nonetheless far too colourful for my liking). Video recording is also superior on the iPhone, pretty important to me (ahem, ahem, 1080p 30fps video on selfie camera).
Now what you Xiaomi fanboys don't understand from my comments is that I am not saying the 13 series are bad - in fact they are fantastic phones. All I am saying is that for full price they are absolutely not worth it, and that even iPhones - handicapped as they are - are more worth their full price than the Xiaomis are.
TL;DR XIAOMI 13 PRO GOOD BUT NOT WORTH 1300 EUROS

That's silly. Buy whatever you want. You don't need to come up with silly reasons. By the way, I don't see how the iOS is more polished. It's a very basic and simple compared to Android. A correct adjective is rudimentary.

I wonder how different the 13 Ultra will be from the 13 Pro. The 13 Pro camera is already great enough, so I don't know how Xiaomi can make the 13 Ultra camera better

I'm just saying, if I was to choose between paying 1300 euros on a Xiaomi or 1300 euros on an iPhone, I would choose the iPhone, even though it is more handicapped than the Xiaomi.
I'd rather deal with iOS than MemeUI, even though iOS is more handicapped but infinitely more polished. Also iPhone support is two leagues ahead of Xiaomi, both in person and updates. It's just more reliable for the price than Xiaomi can ever be.
But I would never buy an iPhone. Edge 40 Pro/S23 Ultra/OnePlus 11 are my ideal mobiles.

Uncheck them when you turn on your phone for the first time or after factory reset. It will be pretty lightweight. And as long as you have 256GB or more storage no issues at all. Don't listen to others and buy Samsung. You will enjoy it.
