thedeev1, 06 Apr 2023It will def cost over 1500 euros if we are going by 13 Pro ... moreNot so much competition anymore, here's the result 🙈

If they want to have me spending more than 1k€, they'll need to adopt a longer software support. And better one too, but for that they'll need to release less device 😊

And the software is buggy and glitchy throughout the whole prince range, read some experiences online. As for Samsung I've never ever seen an ad for it, maybe it's different story in Indian scammy market

When I bought the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (12GB/512GB version) it cost me 1100€. I don't dare to think what they will charge for this one..

[deleted post]Even their old TouchWiz is better than MIUI. I used my galaxy s3 for 6 years and moved to poco f1 and it felt like I downgraded in terms of UI. Recently had to use a Xiaomi device for a week and it was still as bad I could remember.

They better launch it globally same date as the release in China.

I re-sold my other phone and lloking for a secondary phone replacement, it was a choice between Samsung S23 Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Pro (unfortunately thr Vivo x90 Pro and the Find X6 Pro is not sold where Im at) but the 13 Pro even costs about $200 more than the s23ultra for the same 12GB 256GB model. Had to go with S23 ultra. If this 13 Ultra is gonna cost more, it will be a really hard sell

The last Xiaomi phone i used was the Mi 11 Utra(but that was a chinese version that i have to import) which is why i think Xiaomi is losing its customer base - because they ignore international customers.

I don't see people buying this phone over s23 or iPhones. Problem with these phones is their garbage OS that is as good as their OS on entry level phones. No matter how good hardware the phone has, it closes every app 5 seconds after you minimise it. They even close the apps which are downloading in the background even if you change it in settings not to close the app. And that's not including the bloatware and their brand value. Their earlier flagships were selling because they were half the price of galaxys and iphones and people were willing to tolerate their garbage UI for that. Unless they include a camera that zooms 100x optically and see microbes with their macros, I don't see it selling at all.

They better launch it globally same date as the release in China.

Do you really th... moreXiaomi and Leica's official joint announcement today says it will be launched globally. Would be very strange to publish that if it's not getting a global launch. They could possibly bring it to Europe for about €200 more than the Xiaomi 13 pro if the rumored starting price in China is correct. The rumored starting price in China is about 5,999rmb from some sources up to 6,499rmb from others which is not that much more the Xiaomi 13 pro. The find x5 pro launched at 5,999rmb for 12gb 256gb so I think they will be under pressure to at least match this. After all the hardware is similar. If it's roughly €100 or so more expensive than the Xiaomi 13 pro in China then €200 more than the Xiaomi 13 pro in Europe (around €1,500) would be feasible. You have been usually right in the past though so let's see but still can't really see why they would announce it getting a global launch if they don't intend one
