Man Apple really hyping this.
They don’t include a charger with their phones, and have plans blah blah for low emissions.
Meanwhile they manufacture nearly everything in China and have kids mining their metals not to mention the deaths and slavery.. but that doesn’t affect their marketing, does it? It’s a joke.

I know I'm gonna get attacked for this. I honestly don't care though.
There's no such thing as dirty energy, or a non carbon neutral product. All energy on earth comes from the sun, it's simply impossible to take energy from a source that wasn't at some point the sun. The food chain always comes back to plants. Even fossil fuels are plants. Coal at some point was plants. Oil. Gas. By trying to make something carbon neutral, the most you're doing is reducing pollution. Pollution is the waste chemicals released from converting energy from one form to another. Even manufacturing processes must abide by this rule. The smoke will always be a direct or indirect byproduct of turning some sort of fuel into heat. So at the end of the day, all apple is really promising is to reduce the pollution they're releasing into the atmosphere, which is already negligible compared to transportation of goods and people. It's a PR stunt to make people feel like apple is somehow a good company despite the bs they pull that every other major corporation does too. What I find most hilarious about all this climate stuff, is that the people who feel all righteous buying electric cars, are actually the #1 contributors to both child labour and our current energy crisis. One (I repeat, ONE) 350KWh electric car battery has enough batteries to make 3500 16" MacBook Pros. To charge that battery once, uses as much power as a 6000 watt industrial stove would in 60 hours of use. If a restaurant was cooking for 3 days straight, they'd use as much power as an electric car does in charge. Guess where the major sources for a lot of the elements in a lithium ion battery come from? Child labour! Not only does the vastly increased mining for electric cars make all mining for batteries before it so small that it basically doesn't exist, it also harms the climates of countries where these mines are based. But of course, electric cars are the future, so it doesn't matter. Well I'm here to tell you that the future is a bunch of corporate cronies using fancy words to make you believe that they somehow have the moral high ground! (I'm not even gonna get into the pollution released to make things like solar panels... This post assumes that the creation of "renewable" energy devices is 100% pollution free.
