Going from a quad Cortex-A53 CPU to one that has two A75 cores and six A55s will make a huge difference. The phone goes on sale in India next week.

I couldn't imagine how many SOT it has. I wish that phone had an option to toggle to 1080p or 720p. Would yield better performance and can last more battery life.

    Go back 6 years and you'll find phones with better performance. Would you be happy using an LG V30 today? I sure don't like using mine. But it performs better than this and you can get one for less. This is not overkill.

        Edit: Eh maybe I was wrong. If we're going by the non-sale price it's slow but with the sale price it's a bit snappy. I guess it's not so bad. I'd still go with a 30% more expensive phone and get 50% more performance.

                unless you count an used, old model smartphones though
