Hp pavilion and compaq laptop brand are awesome.
Nowadays hp brands (after 2019) are not even average level (driver support is worse , if we ask any dought in hp community ,hp never reply quickly so we have to wait someone reply to our question, even spare parts are very expensive and low quality also). Hp is need to improve your brand like Lenovo or Dell.

Yes that's true bro,
I have hp eq3045au laptop but when you go and search drivers for your laptop hp website , then it shows Windows 10 20h2 and 21h2 driver also but this laptop comes with Windows 11 22h2. I don't know why hp releasing Win 10 drivers with this laptop.
I think hp going stop driver updates for this model series. Really hp laptop driver update support is not good.

white, 10 May 2023Guys , don't buy the hp laptop , bcz they never update... moreI agree you comments , bcz same issued I also faced by hp. Now I'm using Dell 3525 inspiron laptop without any issues and drivers also very latest version.
Note: hp battery drain issue after shutdown the laptop is horrible thing (15s - 2021 old model).

Guys , don't buy the hp laptop , bcz they never update drivers properly for brand new series laptop (Ex : if you take hp 15s - eq1860au laptop and hp 15s - eq2213au laptop drivers are same but hp 15s - eq1860au laptop released on 2021 Jun month and hp 15s -eq2213au released on 2023 Jan month).
Another worse thing is , you can't easily find the drivers on hp driver website. If you want to download the drivers for hp 15s - eq1860au then you have to search like this (hp 15s - e1000) then only you will find the drivers otherwise you have to download the drivers from third party website.
Second worse thing is , hp 2021 series laptop and hp 2023 series laptop drivers are same ( Ex : hp 15s - e1000) all models that start from hp 15s - eq0001au to hp 15d - eq0999au drivers are same. Hp never consider whether it's brand new series or old series laptop model.
Only you will get 2 years driver support for two times only. Other laptop brands they are giving 3 year driver support and future driver (any urgent or bug fix) support also (Ex : Dell and Lenovo brand).
You can't install Win 10 20h2 drivers on Win 10 21h2 version. Even Win 10 drivers 21h2 not support for old version of Win 10 also.
After 2 or 3 years later you can't easily update to version or upgrade to new Win edition also , bcz they block every thing throw their hp bios settings. But Dell or Lenovo brands are not like that even your old win 10 drivers are always support for any new Win 10 version and you can easily upgrade to new Win version also.
Hp laptops have battery drain issue after shutdown the laptop.
Guys , now I thinking I was wasted my money to purchased this waste product in my life. My future laptop brand is Dell or Lenovo.

You reply with "So a robust word processor, video editor, photo editor, and web browser qualifies as severely devoid? Ridiculous."
And your examples that make the Android ecosystem so "abundant"?"LumaFusion video editor, Microsoft word, most chromium based browsers, YouTube, Gmail. All those apps have a desktop mode on android."
Are you following here?
Now you come up with "I think it's ridiculous that people don't want their phones to do more."
Does it matter what one "wants"? It's clear to anybody with so much as a slight sense what a professional app is that Android phones can't "do more". It can do word processing, that's generally accepted, and not a lot beyond that, especially not professional grade production. You can fool nobody but yourself saying otherwise.

And I replied to that. The answer is a clear no. If there's an OS that supports only Netscape as its sole browser, is that a valid alternative for Android? The answer is no. Just because there exist alternatives doesn't mean they're valid.

There are better alternatives available, I just happen to use snapseed because it does the basic edits I need to do on RAW photos. Your whole point is based on companies who don't know how to make power user software for mobile. Find some solid examples then get back to me, lol.

HP still has a large majority of the Laptop market share? that's surprising, I would've thought they'd have much less market share considering how poor the build quality is on almost all of their machines.. especially those hinges.

PhoneFreak45, 11 Apr 2023And let me guess, you can't imagine finding replacemen... moreUsing Snapseed to substitute PS...you absolutely have no idea what you're talking about do you. I happened to have used Snapseed, in an attempt to substitute a then less-than-mature LR Android, for around 2 years. It was a catastrophic failure. The app was far more responsive than LR on my then GS6E, likely because LR's engine was always badly optimized, yet the devs of that app didn't have a clue how a DNG workflow is supposed to be. First there came a Camera RAW-wannabe interface, everything lossless had to be done on it although it had even fewer functions than Camera RAW whereas all the complex adjustments had to be done to a converted JPG, so whatever other adjustments you need, you'd have to guess their effects on the final output and preadjust to compensate in the lossless interface accordingly. Then was the issue that although preview generation was speedier on Snapseed, they thought it OK to degrade quality and skip some of the processing, so that "preview" is in fact not even a real preview! Both the sharpness and DR can be off by a large margin with many of the tools. Ah, and then was the absolutely brilliant design that each tool functions like an individual mask yet they're applied strictly sequentially, so if curves are the 1st tool I used yet something else like structure nudged the contrast in the wrong direction, if I go back to compensate with curves, I'm left with the preview interface without structure touched! I have to guess the combined effect of the curves adjustment and structure, looking at a preview with just curves! And this adds up. And anybody should be able to guess the nightmare of having to go back and adjust the 1st tool having already used 5. And I'm not gonna go into color management and printing. After I upgraded to GN8 I migrated Snapseed over in hope that they might overhaul the entire system, the app's free after all. I waited a year, and not even a slight fix! If you think Snapseed is a serious photo editing app, you have no respect for technicalities and you're not a serious person.

I'm still more than happy with my Intel NUC 11 Enthusiast with 32GB RAM, so I don't see any reason to upgrade or replace my current PC anytime soon.
