guess they are not gonna bring in the SD 7+ Gen 2 SoC this time around
The IR blaster is nice as seen (not experienced - as it is a 'China only' model) on the Reno 9, would've been a nice touch to keep Jack as well.

Files get bigger, but peoples brains apparently not.. Stay in the stone age with your sub-TB internal storage options while wanking about its IOPs performance and happily pay the phone manufacturers ripoff prices for a measily 512GB option lol. Computers 15 years ago had 250GB, that's where you're still stuck at, seemingly.

I appreciate the comeback of telephoto cameras in mid-range phones. Telephoto cameras were standard in mid-rangers until 2020, then they were abolished and last year they returned to honor 70 series for example, though the honor 80 series doesn't have telephoto cameras again. Nice to see Oppo bringing them back. They are more useful than 5mp macro/depth sensors for decoration.

They really need to improve the software support on their phone, at least 3 Android updates and 4 years security patch for that pricing. Having only 2 Android updates for a phone with that horrible pricing is just ridiculous.
This is also a note for other midranger BBK products, not just Oppo.
