The moment you switch to 3rd party apps it becomes not-so-good. It is possible that Apple is doing this on purpose. They do this with 3rd party hardware all the time.

              Ugly notch.

When was the last time someone used laptop camera??
The last time I used it was 4 years ago, BUT I am using my smartphone camera every couple of days for video calls.
I would much prefer SD card reader on Macbook Air instead of useless camera and ugly notch on the screen.

you have to suffer, 12 Apr 2023the notch on a laptop does not go well. but some people lik... moreIndustry followed notch and then quickly ditched in favor of more compact and elegant solution.
And that on a phone, a device where bezels matter.
In a laptop a small extra bezel at top to put camera in it is both acceptable and very easy to do it.

And I don't see indrustrly falling for the same bait twice. I doubt execs are this level of mentally challenged.

So these unibrows are limited to belladona smokers at 1 Apple Park Way, Cupertino, California.

                  At least, I hope so.

15 inch MBA with M3.. the battery life would be awesome, can even rival the existing 16 inches MBP.

Ever since the release of the M1 series.. It really shaken up the PC segments.

No fan, instance on, long battery life.

It seems like the unibrow is here to stay for the foreseeable future. Just do what I did and get the current 13-inch MBP with active cooling and use your iPhone (if you have one) as a webcam via the Continuity Camera feature. Or, wait and see if Apple adopts the unibrow for their next model… that’s if they’re planning on releasing it in the first place.

Yes, bring back Job's zen-elegant design style and ditch the unibrow. So glad I'm not alone on this one. I didn't buy the M2 because of the botch-notch. M3 + no notch = take my money.

I am ok with the apple prices but I am not ok with the upgrade prices. Going from 256 gb to 512 gb is 200 euros. From 8 gb to 16 gb is another 200 euros. M2 air goes from 1300 euros to 1700 euros with the needed upgrade. 1700 euros is too much for what it is.
