Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Asus improved the cooling, speaker quality, and gave the AeroActive cooler a subwoofer.

Rog 7 16/512GB is €1200.
Ultimate 16/512GB is €1429.

Both phones are 95% similar. Ultimate is not worth. Even with fan included in the box.

      Only negative is still no OIS camera here. That's screws all 3rd party apps camera vision.

        I really appreciate Asus for doing high spec phones like this and pushing mobile performance boundaries, but... meh... At the end of the day the ROG series are just spec phones.

        I hope those who buy it can enjoy it though.

                A bit dissapointing that they opted out of having the premium DAC again, just like they did for the 6 version. It might only be important to some people, but I would have bought either phone if it actually had a better DAC. As it's basically a unique quality for any phone.

                From the specs it seems as if the wired audio option has been downrgraded even moreso. It went from 32-bit/384kHz audio on the Rog 6, to 24-bit/192kHz audio on the Rog 7 according to the specs on GSMarena.

                  They are making it more difficult to buy this phone with each passing revision at that price point. True gamers will buy a PC and run emulators at that price. Smh...
