If manufacturers would switch to IPS Black this tech would be even better (ips black is the latest iteration of lcd which was introduced last year)

Old news. Already have the Pad 6 Pro. Half the price of the Galaxy Tab s8 almost the same specs. Have the Chinese version and all it needed was some Google apps to make it global. Pretty decent tablet for the price.

Good boy Xiaomi...First of all, it's not 'Ancient' by any standards.
Secondly, you can call it a 'costly' only after the price is announced and more importantly, after looking at the whole package, after comparing it with what the competition is offering, at what cost, and of what quality.

Never understood the craze for oled with so many disadvantages for the eyes compared to LCD and OLED can't even display good whites which doesn't make sense for tablets as they're used for reading books in white background.

arthurmdy, 14 Apr 2023totally agree I personally tend to like 11" or so tablets (they're a bit big for me but 8" would be too small, I actually think 10" would be perfect) but I definitely think that there should be more compact flagship tablets beyond the Lenovo Legion Y700 (availability), Galaxy Z Fold 4 (cost and microcracks after about a year, Samsung refuses to cover it for anyone except for reviewers), the Oppo Find N2 (cost again, and availability isn't amazing), Honor Magic Vs (I think the Vs is the newest model, and cost is again an issue, plus availability iirc), Xiaomi Mix 2 (cost, plus despite sacrificing a lot to be thin, Xiaomi made it quite possibly the ugliest phone I've ever seen), and some more foldables. I'm being serious here, they're all flawed, though I'd say the Oppo and Lenovo are the best (if you can get your hands on one)

OnePlus used it to cut cost on the 11 (10 Pro had 3.1 but was also more expensive).
