I absolutely love my pixels but hard to change model until someone comes close to the five in size. I do believe there is a section of this market that is substantial for something like this sort of sizing as well.

Unless the total height bezels (top and bottom) are thicker than on the 7, which I doubt is the case, the 8 would also have a 20:9 aspect ratio.

I prefer this design with the rounded corners from an ergonomics standpoint. Using the Pixel 7 Pro vs the S22/S23 Ultra, the Pixel with the rounded corners is much easier and comfortable to use. The Pixel 5 was my favorite phone in recent years for size and ergonomics, regular S23 is a close second. I don't miss the giant sized phones.

The Pixel 7 Pro has very good corners, close to that of a credit card in roundness.

Welp, there kills any chance I would ever have of buying a pixel. Just like the Galaxy A54. I'll bet that next year, the pixel 9 will be comparable to a Nest thermostat in terms of design. Keep rounding those corners. Just like you keep doing in your OS.

Is it going to develop green screen flicker and shutdowns like the Pixel 7 Pro has and Google won't acknowledge ?
Too tight to refund customers for known hardware issue until someone has the balls to sue them.
But with corporation's of that size you are at their mercy, I have lowered my expectations to hope for reasonable trade in deals for upgrading to Pixel 8.
