Mority of those write here about WP8 does not had a hand on it or own one. I am using Lumia 920 for 5 months, of course two times frozen but automatically switched on and worked when let it as it is for sometime. To me its very good, smooth in all sense, userfreindly and feel good about its weight. Every mobile / OS has some bad things. But WP8 has gained and grown to a very big level and now stand to iphone and androids. See what happens next ... it will be the No.1 OS and NOKIA LUMIAS ... THE BEST.

    Obviously, nokia's "exclusive" camera apps are not exclusive anymore.

    some of the apps are already copied by samsung LOL!

Just press the volume up or down button and a drop down appears, from that drop down there is a button that clearly allows you to turn on or off the ringer... which moron has been going all the way into settings?

        i adore Lumia.. its gorgeous and simple. it may not possess quadcore cpu, but who cares? its smooth, fast and fluid. viber is available on wp8 as well as skype, whatsapp and so on.. btw, it consumes less power than android.

          ...sales, markets, numbers of games, best 3D games, most popular games, best rated games...etc

            i have never experienced it in all my android phones, and my current phone is ROOTED... but lets say what u said is correct, still windows OS mobile or desktop is the GOD of Viruses, Malwares, backdoors, and trojans...etc and these won't bother Linux OS at all.

                If 928 is better than 920 then it is a clear winner as 920 is already the best on the market - here are come just some bullet points:
                - The best screen in smartphones (color dynamic (vividness), blackness, response time (60 times per second), pixel density, etc)
                - …+ possibility to operate with gloves
                - second best camera in smartphones (808 pure view is still better) with image stabilization and ability to take “visible” shots in the dark
                - + of course the best video recording with image stabilization and ability to make “visible” films in the dark
                - wireless charging (which apart from obvious things (no need to plug in a cable which with time usually destroys the input) gives you another benefit – while charging chosen app can/will be launch automatically (quite useful when you charge it on a stand – you can launch a clock or continuously have an access to all important data like mails etc.)
                - the best, free guided turn-by-turn navigation… with indoor maps… + 3d graphics… without the need for data transfer (no need for data transfer does not seem important when you ore in your own country but abroad… I do not know about the rates now but couple of years ago downloading a DVD movie abroad would cost you… more than 50 000 Euro (70 000 $) – this just shows how much you risk with downloading data abroad)
                - OS - taking best from other OSs
                o IOS: swiftness (it simply does not lag !), easy to use – wining on this by far with android
                o Android: functionality - important info/data available easily through widgets (but in far ore convenient way than android) – wining on this by far with IOS
                - OS - excelling over the other OSs with beauty
                - Ecosystem – deep integration with the most popular (or second most popular) gaming platform – xbox
                - Unique, excellent Nokia apps like fabulous/magic city lens, Nokia music, unique camera apps, dedicated games (like angry birds roost) etc, etc
                - … + Microsoft office not only reader but full version of it with editing capability
                - Standing out design – you do not need to be like a sheep following the same trend as 100000000 of other sheep
                - + come smaller things like capacious battery

                  -No multitasking i don't think anyone should allow to call it smartphone because no multitasking no smartphone, and I'm 100% sure it will lag like no tomorrow if it had multitasking. - no multitasking was perhaps on wp 7 WP8 HAS FULL MULTITASKING (IF NOT WHY I AM USING MULTIPLE APPS WORKING !!! (NOT FROZEN) AT THE SAME TIME)
                  -Battery life in WP is unbearable. - WHAT A NONSENSE
                  -Camera features in WP8 is much worse than the one in WP7, weird because almost in every OS the new version must be more advanced than the previous one. - ALMOST EVERY !!! ACKNOWLEDGED THAT LUMIA 920 IS THE BEST IN CAMERA DEPARTMENT (AND VIDEO AS WELL) - READ SOME COMPARISON BEFORE YOU POST NONSENSE
                  -Zune sync is completely joke and restricted. - THERE IS NO ZUNE FOR WP8
                  -Too much division in the OS people complain of Apps incompatibility all time in WP even in screen resolution! - I NEVER !!! HAD ANY COMPATIBILITY ISUES - I GUES YOU NADE IT UP
                  -Limited screen time off option in stand by, in Android i can set it to whatever i want even if not to turn off for ever. - MY SCREEN IS ACTUALLY SET NOT TU TURN OFF
                  -The stock navigation is a joke "Bing". - IT IS JUST MORE ACCURATE THAN GOOGLE AND FAR MORE USER FRIENDLY - I STOPPED USING GOOGLE
                  -E-mail features = dumb phone features it doesn't allow you to attach files even simple files like image or media or to select all content and no real support for HTML. - WRONG AGAIN, OF COURSE YOU CAN !!!
                  -No support for Flash "And yes SIV stock supports it and almost all Android custom ROMs on any device also supports it", No support for YOUTUBE! one of the best site for videos OMG!, no support for Flipboard. - JUST SIMPLE LIE
                  -Only one browser and one keyboard and both are ugly and buggy, what a joke and you call this a smartphone? - JUST NONSENSE
                  -Media player is so primitive you can't cross forward and backward between the tracts this one thing and there are more. SUBJESTIVE, IF NOT LIKED, DOWNLOAD ANY OTHER
                  -Notification is the biggest problem of all, battery and network notification bar appear only when you click on them and the worse part sometimes they just disappear! even when you get notification they disappear after few seconds and you have to seek them manually between the primitive live titles to see where the notification came from...etc there are more horror bugs in WP notification system i wouldn't finish if it took a whole day to write about them.
                  -Search button you see WP has this bug that search button is too much near to the screen so you have to click it by accident all the time and it will take you to Bing, its so frustrating. - THERE ARE LIVE TILES FOR THAT - YOU ARE NOTIFIED ON THEM

It will switch the phone to silent mode.
                    -No multitasking i don't think anyone should allow to call it smartphone because no multitasking no smartphone, and I'm 100% sure it will lag like no tomorrow if it had multitasking. - It affects only if you are downloading anything else things run fine.
                    -Battery life in WP is unbearable. - 1300 mah battery gives me a 10 hr backup with WhatsApp, viber, 3 email accounts, talk.to and Skype all running all the time.
                    -Camera features in WP8 is much worse than the one in WP7, weird because almost in every OS the new version must be more advanced than the previous one. - Not sure which features are you talking about. But whatever there are, they are good, at least not worst.
                    -Zune sync is completely joke and restricted. - Zune is not supported by WP8. It has its own application which does the syncing job pretty nicely.
                    -Too much division in the OS people complain of Apps incompatibility all time in WP even in screen resolution! - Never heard, you are making this up.
                    -Limited screen time off option in stand by, in Android i can set it to whatever i want even if not to turn off for ever. - So how many seconds do you keep, its acceptable that 30 secs or 1 minute is enough.
                    -The stock navigation is a joke "Bing". - Many stock Android things are joke as well. Not a valid point

Including images and other media files
                    -No support for Flash "And yes SIV stock supports it and almost all Android custom ROMs on any device also supports it", No support for YOUTUBE! one of the best site for videos OMG!, no support for Flipboard. - I just watched an entire IPL match on my phone via youtube. Flipboard I agree, flash is getting outdated, html5 is the future.

IE does a pretty decent job for a browser, even on the lowly 512MB devices. Didn't find the keyboard buggy neither ugly, does its job of typing very easily along with word predictions.

Its simple, I know which programs give me notifications, they are pinned up on my home screen, have setup a different ringtone for every type. Even if I miss it, i know exactly where to look. So you keep on constantly staring at the battery and antenna symbols? No, right? You see them only when you want to. So what if they are hidden away? Are you so lazy? I never seen them disappear.
                    -Search button you see WP has this bug that search button is too much near to the screen so you have to click it by accident all the time and it will take you to Bing, its so frustrating. I can vouch for it and say easily say no its not. Its just a lame point made by you.

                    BTW there are more things but i don't have that much time. - I would like to know what more points you have.

                    Would like to mention two points
                    1) WP8 is just 7 months old, it will take time to mature and grow, but yet it stands in front of Android and iOS is a thing of appreciation.
                    2) I typed this entire thing on my Nokia 620, without breaking a sweat and I think it did a pretty neat job don't you think.

The things u specified here existed in windows 7 and i have personally used windows 8 of my galfriends phone and m dumbstruck vid what nokia is doing, windows 7 handsets are crap and full of loopholes but i guess ur still stuck in d sheepherd of android, just come out f d circle and start exploring new stuff, lifes not all about android, even im plannin to have atleast 3 o.s....android for gaming , windows for best social networking integration( i have used f.b, twitter , lync etcand its times better then android) and nokia,s camera tech ( i feally admire since my last phone n82). I m relly hoping u have never used z windows 8 mobile......m totally delighted and my galfriends luving it more then anything.......now my turn,s coming back once i will buy catwalk or eos, im gonna make her jealous.......

                        My awaited phone arrived!! Frst week of using samsung android my device really freeze that much And bugs in the system are everyehere.. ill have an eye on this phne. Hope it reaches philippines soon..

                          Spending time typing faulty comments won't resolve it, instead you should sent extensive email to Samsung or Apple (whoever you worship, yes you clearly do!) asking them to start innovating because the number of running customers to WP is increasing by day. it's a fact
