I really miss LG smartphones...the only company who dares to launch unique phones designs (very few success but at least they tried) in a world full of same old fashioned designs flooding the market...

it's a shame consumers didn't take the LG's vision more seriously...now the market is dominated again by same old fasioned boxes due to "blinded consumers" that does not care about wasting their money and keep buying phones from brands with no soul....

you have to suffer, 16 Apr 2023Keep that up by yourselfWhatever, the market reality is on my side.
LG failed and died. End of story.

I already received the update earlier this week, and it has been a solid improvement. The Gallery app, which used to take ages to load up in Android 12, now opens instantaneously. I also got better battery life with better SoT on the latest Android version, both under single-screen and dual-screen use. I'm also impressed with the Snapdragon 765G SoC performance under heavy loads during gaming. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the AES stylus since I don't have one in my hands.

Phone was a crap, bad futures, limited software, everything was medicore. LG was never a good brand, was not even close to the names of Nokia, HTC, Qtek, Siemens, blackberry, Sony Ericsson. I will not miss LG at all. It was a time to left the mobile industry.

LG Wing with a flagship SoC + 120hz display would be one helluva phone that I'd wanna have.

LG should reconsider smartphone manufacturing. They were very innovative

Man i miss LG Mobile. Probably the most innovative & risk-taking smartphone company out there. They released some of the most awesome phones in the last decade. They really shouldn't have quit the smartphone industry due to recent faltering sales...

I hope they'll eventually reenter the smartphone space with some iconic new products.

Wing is one of the more collectable LG phones nowdays, for obvious reasons.

Second would be the EU version of the V60, which is much more uncommon than the US one (last really common one in EU was the V40)

G8S to a lesser degree is also a desirable phone in some EU countries, it was cheap and now goes often for under 100 euro in good shape (which for a IP rated phone, with a good 3,5mm jack, microsd, 3 cameras (main, ultrawide and telephoto), SD855 and a OLED screen, is a solid deal)

Considering the G8S got Android 12 at the end of 2022, that did surprise me as it was my old phone, now used for emulation and as a music player.

People that complain about the update speed don't gwt the point.

LG didn't have to update these phones, they would all have one Android update less than planned, yet LG gave each of them a extra update, they didn't have to.

Also Moto Edge 30 Ultra is few months old and Android 13 is finally rolling out on it, and people complain about LG being slow, while they could abandon the updates after leaving the smartphone market.
