Any idea how to get Mi dialer on this POCO F5 PRO device? Mi 14 global edition does not have Mi dialer with call recording.

I just bought an f5 pro a few days ago and what you are commenting caught my attention since I just realized that the snapdragon 8 plus generation 1 must run at 3.20 ghz. And on my f5 pro it runs at 3 ghz. I understand that the snapdragon 8 plus generation 1 is a redesigned version to avoid the heating that the normal snapdragon 8 generation 1 suffered from. My question is that if the snapdragon 8 plus generation 1 is supposed to have already been redesigned to avoid that overheating because in the f5 pro They lowered the gigahertz even more to be exact from 3.20 Gigahertz to 3.0ghz?

I am also noting that this f5 pro is pretty much the global version of redmi k60...

Would you be so kind to explain to me please?

I ve checked on geekbench.com and snapdragon 8+ gen 1 and snapdragon 8 gen 1 have same identifiers :

      ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 2 part 3400 revision 0

so it s impossible to know from these results if poco f5 pro has sd 8+ gen 1 or sd 8 gen 1

looks like we need to wait for official confirmation on xiaomi website ...

      UPDATE : POCOGlobal confirmed the sd 8+ gen1 : https://twitter.com/POCOGlobal/status/1654063327612489728

Glad Im dont have to wait for any poco phone to update my F2 pro, it will be my 1st also last from poco. F2 pro was a great phone, hard to find a flat scr. with wifi6 at the time.

8 Gen 1 has to be one of the worst decisions a phone manufacturer could make in 2023. Literally, why couldn't they use 8+ Gen 1?

Dkj195, 21 Apr 2023No all Exynos was bad, it's just that 2100 is the leas... more"2100 is the least worst"? There was no improvement over the 888, it was worse. Several sources show this. Not just Golden Reviewer. Despite them literally making the 888, they still failed to make an Exynos chip better than a Qualcomm chip. And I've been hearing this nonsense about them and AMD for years now. Next year isn't gonna be any different.

So, the K60 series were among the few VFM phones in a period when smartphones are highly overpriced. It was released only in China and now Xiaomi decides that it's going to "rebrand" the best phone of the series for the global market with a much much worse chipset, worse battery and no wireless charging (according to some reports) and quite possibly it will also be much more expensive than the Chinese version.

Makes total sense. A good reason to discard this brand for good.

Did you think Samsung... moreNo all Exynos was bad, it's just that 2100 is the least worst of the bunch but overall they suck, ofc they can't magically make it better and that is why they've stopped using for last year and this year model using exynos, they might comeback as early as next year with exynos co-design with AMD, no clue how it will perform all we know is they're doing it as we speak, not getting high hopes but if they succeed that's a good thing

Dkj195, 19 Apr 20238 gen 1? Are they for real? 8 gen 1 and Tensor G SOC sucks ... moreThe Exynos 2100 was horrible as well. Did you think Samsung was gonna magically have the ability to produce a good chip at the same time they were producing the inferno called the 888?

                                Look up Golden Reviewer.

One of the biggest selling points of the F3/F4 were the fact that they didn't use the overheating 888/8 Gen 1. 😂

What the hell is this? Is the leak fake? Is it just not the F5 Pro? Has Xiaomi lost it?

As chinese makers rise mobile phone prices for the international markets the more they risk to lose marketshare against pixels...
I guess internal market its enough for chinese companies now.
