OnePlus Pad price in India revealed through Flipkart

Only sightly more robust than a smartphone, visually.

    Some android hate going on here, let me give you my perspective.

    I want a device with a bigger screen than a phone and that is portalbe enough that I can kick back on the couch and web browse. I like a smooth experience and want a premium build.

    I have tried so many tablets and have ocme away wanting. i have used the Tab S8 series, surface pro, and Chrome OS. I finally gave in and decided to get my first ipad. I have an android phone for reference.

    i got an ipad air on sale for $499 and bought the magic keyboard for 250, and got a 3rd party pen for 28. I do not have any complaints really with the device. It just has one major flaw to me: android feels smoother. At 60hz the touch scroll does not feel as fluid as the 60hz on my Tab S7 FE. I returned it because this oneplus pad sounds like it will be what i am looking for.

      I haven't seen a non apple tablet since almost forever. These android tablets stopped selling probably a decade ago.
      The only other tablet i see is the one that byjus scams people into buying.

        Everyone talking about Ipad. What about black bars when watching videos? Screen from 11inch is converted to 9inch one. Speakers are on the one side ( for lower ipads ). For media consumption, this tablet is far better, even Xiaomi pads, with their perfect aspect ratio and sometimes four stereo speakers. On the other hand, for students and their preparations for exams, for workers on some specific jobs, for readers, and for long term users, Ipad is much better device. Every piece of tech have their buyers.

          Ipad is crap for those who dont own it or can't afford it.When compared to other similar devices, ipad is simply far ahead of the competition in terms of productivity and ease of use.

            While I agree that this Pad isn't very attractive at the price they're asking for (assuming it's close to the official), it does have a better screen. And screen is important unless you're one of those people who "can't tell the difference" between 60Hz and 120/1440+ Hz.

                  Does anyone know what tablets are useful for???

                  I feel tablets are completely useless piece of gadgets... All tablets (Android and iOs) such as iPad are useless.

                  When Microsoft has Surface Pro... U don't require a tablet... It serves the purpose of a tablet and laptop... Also with Win 11 interface with Core i5/i7 processors... u can install all apps including designing, photoshop, etc.

                  Would appreciate if someone could point me benefits of tablets against surface pro :)

                    Attractive specs. Especially fast charging on a tablet. But at that price it's just too close to an iPad which will be supported longer and is useful with facetime etc for relatives who won't use android tabs.
                    Nice device but won't buy it.

                              Will turn into e-waste, a little more than a year after purchase. These are not made to last.

                                Wi-Fi only tablet. Useless

                                  With that price rather pay but extra and go for an ipad.
                                  Everyone knows - OnePlus is nothing but OPPO/VIVO thing underneath. Paying so high for the crap is foolishness.
                                  But this will work in India. Coz in India still OnePlus enjoys that advantage of being a premium brand ( thanks to Carl pei strategy).
