I like the hardware although this is the worst company for software and security updates, I have a 2020 release Samsung device with 13 and up to date security patch
But my Motorola edge 30 pro (8 gen1) is still in android 12 and months behind on security patches with android 14 approaching nd a supposed 'flagship' device from this company with poor software support I can't recommend Motorola to anybody.

Harsh Vardhan Sahay, 21 Apr 2023There edge 40 pro already has a 165hz dusplayPrevious version already had 144 hz display. Is this story bot generated?

Acorns, 20 Apr 20232,850mah battery??? Is that a typing error? It's the mAh of 1 battery the other one will have 750mAh, so combined it will have 3600mAh

Dr. Watson, 20 Apr 2023Would they manage to get the screen up to 165Hz? I doubt it.There edge 40 pro already has a 165hz dusplay

Higher fps on competitive gaming matters only because of better response rate, it has nothing to do with it looking better. You can see many pros speak about not seeing any difference in smoothness over 120Hz but they rather feel it from lower mouse to screen latency. In order to achieve this on mobile manufacturers should focus on touch sampling, not screen refresh rate.

At least research the matter before acting smart

                        6.7 inch 144hz screen with battery hungry 8+ Gen 1 chipset on a 2850mAh battery💀

This will get a rating of 40h on gsmarena test

This is literally a copy of Moto Razr 2022 if true. Have Moto really started to rerelease phones too just like other Chinese OEMs? What a crappy year 2023 is for Moto.

Flop. They took away its signature selling point.
Big mistake. Especially since they did that when they finally were correcting the specs and price.
Even though samsung had been working on the tech longer and actually made the flip a flagship at a better price moto made the razr 1500! And it was only like a $200-$400 spec and support wise too! Minus the folding old obviously. And couldn't even be properly used on other networks after unlock.

And by time the start to make it a flagship and more sane level prove they remove its DNA to not only make its existence a copy but its design now too.

I wonder if the Razr will come in 2 or 3 versions this year?

The battery shouldn't be under 3,500 mah.
They've already done 4,500 mah so it shouldn't be hard
