        poor front camera, was waiting for this device to upgrade from Mi 11 Ultra, post announcement, i bought S23 Ultra. Only annoying thing in Samsung is it's charging speed and compability.

            They simply did not want this bizarre cam bum (near 7mm thick) nor use too wide solution like Sharp (19mm).
            Pro-i is almost 9mm thick, cam bump is barely noticiable. This one is thicker, still bump is almost as thick as galaxy s6 entire body

I thoug... moreIn the case of Sony Xperia Pro-I, it want to shoot photos in 4:3 when the 1" sensor itself is a native 3:2. 4:3 is taller than 3:2, so it can't use the whole 3:3 sensor canvas and have to crop to get the 4:3 aspect ratio. Vy contrast, IMX989 is a native 4:3.

                              I'm curious about the display, that's no longer a Samsung panel. I have the assumption that it will not be as energy efficient. The new Redmi Note 12 models also have a fairly high standby consumption and I would also guess that there is a different panel than usual.

You can take everything with a grain of salt. All the flagships are better than all the other ones at their launch event. Having said that, the video quality is very good. I'm trying it out right now! The only negative I see so far is the in hand feel is not good compared to the competition (the feel is much worse tgan the Xiaomi 13 pro too) and the top speaker seems to have a little noise. The bottom bezel is quite large but the screen itself is good but the maximum brightness is low in manual mode. Camera looks brilliant on initial impressions

                                        Zuzuz, 21 Apr 2023A little bit better and versatile, but not huge differences. 13U is a huge difference in some aspect even when compare 13Pro with 13. The grip, same sensor for triple cam can be a game changer for both photo and videography.
