So "Fi" comes from Wi-Fi, which is "Wireless Fidelity". It is basically called "Google (Wireless) Fidelity Wireless". Nice move.

i had googleFI simply unlimited plan and they charge f**kin 11 $ of taxes on that !!
after that i had 2 other Tmobile mvnos after googlefi and they all were in range of 1.5 to 3$ of taxes max. (unlimited plans)
I havent moved and tested all of that in like 3 months so i dont really know whats going on with them having taxes so high for no reason.

It's a dumb name change but they did it because people had no idea what the product was despite only needing to read the nutrition facts and whatnot to put two and two together.
