MIUI 14 is a a huge regret choice! From problematic Always on Display that turn off itself when ur room is dark. To Bluetooth and Alarm extra steps nuisances. I will stay far away.

I don't know where you live, but in Europe nobody thinks that xiaomi is premium for anything. The only way they end up in users hands is by receiving them for free in exchange for a 2 year contract .

A little portion of these people are looking for a Sony premium phone, with a 3.5mm jack, or maybe an Huawei Mate/Huawei P series phone without GMS.
So yes, most people who are looking for a premium smartphone are not giving up on the phone just because it doesn't have the microSD port. If "premium" for you means having these things, ok consider these things when buying a phone but for the rest of the world premium equals to top notch camera, top notch chipset, top notch display and top notch build.

I just bought it. Today did a tour on the Chinese Wall. Pictures are spectacular. Now wait till the EU rom is available so I can get rid of the Chinese apps.

I for example am interested only in phones that have the SD card slot . If it's not present , that phone model , probably the whole brand, is definitely not premium in my eyes and are instantly scratched off my buying list . I don't care if the phone levitates or teleports: No SD card slot = NOT PREMIUM = NO BUY!
When the swappable microSSD for smartphones will be invented and there will be a dedicated slot for it , then you can say that the SD card is not a premium feature.
Until then , every DSLR camera, every GoPro, every surveillance cameras, every dashboard camera is still using the SD card .
Also, NOBODY installs apps on the SD card . That is used only for storage purposes , making speeds absolutely IRRELEVANT .
PS Next time go buy an original SD card , not a ceap clone build on a boat on it's way to Europe

I've tested RAW files from a lot of cameras including those on my P30 (telephoto and UWA) and iPhone 13 Pro (not ProRAW of course), a6000, X70 Pro+'s stacked Super RAW from DPReview, or even some random GCam dng files from my friends - all of them worked well with Adobe's AI noise reduction, and the only exception I could find was HDR RAW images taken in Lightroom's built-in camera app, which caused the app to grey out the button.
It was also available for the Quad Bayer full resolution RAW from the main cameras of Mi 10 Ultra and my P30, but the output was simply unusable because of the sheer amount of artifacts. Overall, I think it has a very good chance of supporting 13 Ultra's UltraRAW as long as it's only 12.5MP in resolution and not demosaiced.

It would be axing if it would not cost 1499 euros, for this price this phone is no where near worth it.

Maybe better sensor technology, Especially one made for better HDR (via hardware) would be the sole deciding factor. Apartt from the optics, stabilization and processing.

Having more fine detail is excellent. But not at the cost of dynamic range, stabilization, focus, and 8ther things.
