well gaming phones are amazing but why spend on a a gaming phone when you can just buy a pc or console

Such gaming phones are cool but dead motherboards or other hardware related issues are not. If they haven't sorted that out already then no point in buying one

I'd be down for a gaming phone, just not these ones. The Red Magic 8 Pro is a more cooler gaming phone imo.

Gaming phones are just fine but I would rather stick to mainstream phones as they can run demanding games just fine. If I want a gaming device, pc or gaming console is my choice to buy.

Its not like you are gaming non stop 24/7 for all those you mention to matter that much compared to everything else that the Rog phone doesnt have, like inferior camera, inferior software support and warranty etc.
If rog phone 7 ultimate was around the cost of Oneplus 11 for example, then people would treat it way differently.
Check for example Japan where people game a lot on their phones, they still prefer iphones instead of gaming phones...
Same thing goes for Sony smartphones. Many people like the notification led, the headphone jack, the microSD etc but(almost)no one actually buys them. They buy Iphones and Galaxy S devices, hell even Oneplus(due to lower cost).
Thats the reality of the smartphone market.

This is not 2019, and most gaming laptops are actually toned down when it comes to design. Don't like the RGB on the laptop? you can simply turn it of. Why would i spend $3000 on a mac book when i can get a 3070 laptop for $1000
