ya... that's alright... keeping a copy is a choice, but nobody would like to be trolled about any pic they've sent of themself between their friend circle, just cauz they took a shot which was not okay.. I know it might seem very off-topic, but nowadays almost every teen uses all these messangers & they all have to chat, because if 1 person doesn't use phone & don't use all these things then he/she would feel like left-out many a times & most of teens are not mature enough to understand what trolling might do to the person.. & if I say even adult people are not mature . I don't know the reason though... & all people who uses doesn't belong to an area where everybody is educated & are open to each-other... & in case somebody would ever threaten me on WhatsApp, it's only possible if they do a voice/video call via WhatsApp or something.. because I seriously won't be scared if they send me a pic/video of weapon or something... & honestly I would like to block such person right away.. & if they've had the guts then they wouldn't have been scaring me over WhatsApp & obviously my seen comes so late that their hot mind would have cooled down by the time I see it.. 🤦.. it's not only sarcasm but also fact... if somebody have something important to tell why would not they call me.. & if they call me, then I have the MIUI dialer so 😅.... I understand that some people don't prefer calls or kind of shy & can't communicate properly verbally, but they are not the type of person who would do any harm to anybody..
& in case you find a person who's trynna do wrong to you, just block the person right away & you might think why am I saying to block, because they are not serving you anything & are not making a good impact on your life instead of just putting extra fear which you don't need at all... to be honest they are more scared more than their victim. they don't want their victim to have a trace/record of their message, pic or words & you should just feel safe about yourself & anybody & never be scared of a person who got no other way to threaten you, except WhatsApp & view once type of things... be okay, we all have that block option, let them send their bullshit... & never be in contact with such people, if you find someone suspicious just let them know that you don't need extra burden in your life & don't ever chat with them.. always keep your informations safe never give them to the person you don't trust... & I hate mostly Instagram, they can check who our friends are.. & might ask them about where do I live, where do I go & when do I leave from home... actually Instagram is much scarier than WhatsApp in case of privacy... & I never used Facebook, so I don't have experience with that.. but I used it like 4 years ago last... & I know idiots live there, plus I am not fond of showing off over social media, I don't let people know much about me... I keep all info to me only... & I don't let anybody know me easily... I measure the trust & find out their character, if they pass in gaining my trust only then I MIGHT give 'em some info, otherwise I don't even like to tell people my name... thanks for letting me know these things... I am gonna use social medias even less now & in order to be a risk to me one has to do a lot of research & I would suggest you to never give your number to any useless creature so easily... just never... untill it is really necessary.. & it a stranger texts you & don't tell you what their name is, who they are & why are they contacting you.. just don't tell them any info like your name/profession/address.. & take a lot of times to trust them... & cut them off if they don't behave properly.... thanks for reading my long reply 🤦🤦

it's a good thing that I don'... moreI can understand your sarcasm, and I agree, yes we all chat with a lot of people. But the thing is, prohibiting screenshots & screen recording isn't reasonable. Taking a pic of screen is also a choice BTW, so people shouldn't be under false assurance.
Every messenger on planet is ok with you keeping a copy of their chat, whether its instagram, facebook messenger, or twitter or anything.
Best you can do is, not to say something you don't wish to be open about, or use voice chat.
The world today is all about leaving a trace, like it or not (I certainly don't, but what choice?).

it's a good thing that I don't chat with anybody...
thankfully... I am out of risk & WhatsApp is useless for me ... neither I text people nor I watch their statuses, I know society is full of idiots so... it's only in rare chances that I need to use WhatsApp... 😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣
so, I think nobody would ever threaten a person who comes online in 8 days for once & disappears.. I am safe 🤭

This is not a privacy issue, if you send a message, a person has the right to keep a record if he/she so wishes. The person is not interfering in your personal content.
If you're scared of them leaking a chat, why chat with them?

What's the point ??now updates has made the change, newer version of WhatsApp will never let you take the screenshot, untill you do something like rooting your Android or anything else like that... 😐 It's a good thing in my point, to protect the privacy it's been a good decision!
