Not sure why any manufacturer still does this. I agree that there is a minimum bezels required to make it physically useable but the bezels on this Pixel Fold are just too big for this era.

Though it is not to my liking generally, the thickness of 8.3mm is quite impressive.
For comparison less than a handful smart watch models are thinner than this...

The rumor now is that pre-orders will come with a free Pixel Watch, but it's still too expensive , especially when the Fold 5 is supposed to nearly eliminate the display gap when folded. Fold 5 should launch in August, so that gives the Pixel only 2 months where it even might be on top.
