And yes, they are the richest nation there ever was on earth and lower prices of these products just show off a healthier economy. They don't even have taxes on consumer goods like most of the world has which makes all tech including cars about 20% cheaper than elsewhere. Our taxes are not manufacturer's fault, they want to have the same margin in every country, the end price of the product is increased thanks to your lovely governments.

          How is this mother's day sale? Inflate price of product and manipulatively increase the price of trade in devices. Hahaha, who is fooling who.

                Insane. Rich country gets the biggest discount. S22 tradein is 500$, so S23U 512GB for 700$.
                In my country S22 tradein was (no longer is) $250 and total for S23U 512GB was 1100$, now it's 1400$.

                  Very good but I will wait for S24 series if my A52 4G reads sim cards here. Moved to USA but not tested yet. If not will buy S23 Plus.

                    Samsung phone price is just like stock market... daily up and down.. not a trust worthy company

                      props for the discounts, but I've never seen someone gift their mom a smartwatch or a pair of earbuds for mothers day, let alone a brand new smartphone.
                      most people I know get their mom some flowers and chocolates or jewelry.

                          Got a Fold4 last year, start deal was €100 euro off and that's all (mind you the phone was starting at €1799)

                          Trade ins in EU suck too, S22U would give you €300 euro off fron the price, while in the US the trade ins are insane, not to mention much better freebies.

                          Samsung needs to do that to sell, and they do it that agressive in the US because apple is so large over there, in EU Apple is much smaller so Samsung doesn't really care, and that is why in the EU we get worse deals.

                          Apple on the other hand doesn't care, they sell anyhow and they sell still plenty in their main US market.

                            Great example is how few of my friends in the US always say "to not buy a samsung phone at launch", because after few months they get much cheaper, and freebies better.

                            In the US, because in europe we never get same level of freebies, I remember getting €30 euro cashback on my S22U, while in the US people (at same time) got free Buds 2 Pro (this was before black friday)

                              Samsung always give sale of their products in spite of apple!
