SD7gen1 is fabbed by Samsung, and knowing how bad they are, that's probably why many OEMs just avoid it. 7+gen2 is TSMC, but it's recent so probably quite expensive.
870 might also be more expensive.

So, basically 6 Gen 1 isn't ready until this year.
That's why although it's announced last year, the actual chip only available this year. And since it takes some time to produce and testing phones, that's basically the reason why we didn't see 6 Gen 1 devices.
But that doesn't mean that it'll be common though, since 4 Gen 1 is ready and so far only Redmi which use it.

No microSD, no headphone jack, BS Snapdragon 695, pointless curved screen, terrible cameras. Garbage. Absolutely awful

For 210€ Snapdragon 695 would be great but since that's Chinese price and global will be 100 to 150€ more it's underwhelming. Everything else seems okay except of course lack of 3.5mm jack
