Apple MR headset to feature battery similar to MagSafe Battery Pack

The battery pack is linked with a cable that ends in a proprietary round connector and attaches to the headset via magnets.

    Pretty cool. Will you be able to swap batteries on the fly without powering down the device? Would be cool if there was a small auxiliary battery in the device that was for that purpose.

    I'd like to see a phone with something like that. Batteries that could be hot swapped without turning off the device.

      Lmao, glad I'm not their marketing target. Being their fan sure is the worse, and thanks to Tim Cook too, Huawei got their ban because iphone wasn't that innovative

        And somewhat off-topic, this picture shows that the camera bump can’t protude any lower into the back of the phone, because it would make the battery pack and many other MagSafe accessories incompatible. Only possible solution would be to lower the MagSafe ring. But off-center MagSafe would be weird.

          As much as I feel this is gimmicky right now, it‘s still more interesting to me than folding phones and all the tradeoffs they bring (plastic screen, heavy weight, short battery life, less durability, …)
