speeds up that we ll use LIMITED DATA EVER SOONER to go over limit and pay astronomical money for every each megabyte .. very cheeky clever EE :-D

It would be nice to see 20mbps never mind 80, EE has got a lot of work to do. They should offer a knock down price for people who simply aren't getting their stated speeds but are paying for it.

TODAY -read in business news that 4EE are in the process of SELLING off- for the right price ..o2 network has already sold off BROADBAND business to SKY- owned by RUPERT MURDOCH corps - pending UK govt legal formalities ..is it CUT and RUN or progress ? should humble customers be concerned ? ref prices for services .

I think all major broadband providers in UK will never let them use cheap and unlimited 4G without any issue of connection :)

Since Vodafone, O2 etc are going to be slow on the catch up, and with over half of the UK population within 4G areas, EE are likely to be the market leaders - I very much doubt any catching up by other network providers.

minimum speeds for 3G and 4G -what international specifications ? who monitors OFFICIALLY minimum speeds in say uk usa ? who is supposed to hold networks to account -in the larger interests of both industry and customers ? CAN gsmarena SPEARHEAD the campaign for accountability and progress ?

I don't see why so many people are being taken in by claims of "80mbps". This will be in a VERY small number of places at best.
Vodafone's 4G will run off a completely different frequency and, since purchasing Cable & Wireless last year, have been converting all their existing 2G masts to fire out 4G meaning their 4G will be available in 99.7% of the UK at speeds of up to 72mbps (with an average expectancy of 60mbps).

I have been downloading things at around 65 Mbit/s in my city in Sweden for almost a year and a half.
Average speed is around 32 Mbit/s in most settlements and major cities.

As someone who sells for all the networks I can advise that 4g with ee is still data massively over inflated price. It's disgusting and on packages like that with relatively tiny allowances it's ridiculous. Unlimited data needs to be brought in.

I've had a go with EE's 4G in their shops in several places and I'm not impressed one bit. I am on 3 and I was in Nottingham at the weekend and easily hit 11-12mbps on my unlimited data plan. I can't believe EE are allowed to charge such ridiculous premiums for 4g, or that there are people out there actually prepared to pay them. Think I'll wait until 3 start rolling out their 4g service (which will be at no extra cost apparently) before diving in.

You get the data plan that matches your needs, so if the internet is faster you fulfill your needs faster. If you can't afford a plan according to your needs it means you waste to much time online and should go to work to make some money.

EE tell me the the drop in connection is extension when it's not. The Technical dept tell lies when the problem with Internet connection is at the exchange. I have Internet problems every week. I am sick of ringing them on their premium rate numbers when it's not my fault they cannot provide the service. When the contract finishes
I will have nothing more to do with a rubbish Internet service provider. I told them I have a heart condition and don't want the aggravation and a further heart attack. Dispute telling them this they did not car.

In my country there are two companies which are playing monopoly on us by giving us a ridiculous Services along with an expensive price and they paid the government to reject any other communication companies that have the will to start their business in the country
