Funny thing is when WhatsApp changed TOS, there were people who installed Telegram. Telegram has no end to end encryption for group chat, or individual chats (except for secret chats). People are happy to sacrifice more of their privacy to Telegram.

        I activated my WhateversApp on my main phone with the sim card using the mobile number. Then by using QR code thingy I activated the same account on 3 more phones. Lastly I opened the app on my Iphone 7 Plus: It is asking for the mobile number. It doesn't have the option to link device. If I activate it, it will sign me out on other devices.

        Now what's app?

                As someone who still keep using a Microsoft Lumia 950 for second SIM, this is three years too late. If WhatsApp had implemented this before they officially dropped support for Windows Phone OS since January 2020, I won't be forced to go back to Android. To this day, I still have no trouble using my two Telegram account on my Lumia 950 with Unigram.

                Speaking of Telegram, I wonder when WhatsApp is going to copy chat group folder, let alone folder sharing.

                    For example, my LG G8x is better (best audio output in mobile world, dual screen, pricing, speed, etc) than a Samsung Galaxy S10, yet it sold way less.
                    Many Sony phones are better than both of the above, yet they sold even lesser.


                    Similarly, Telegram is better in a lot of ways than Whatsapp. I use both.

                      telegram cloud is good. but WhatsApp is more simple and we don't need useless features like telegram.

If you don't have your phone or your SIM, you can't log on Telegram. They don't have something like whatsapp's 6 digit pin (Except if we already log in). So you can't log to Telegram when your SIM card are broken like in my case.
