Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 production to double that of the Z Flip4

      I expect the flip 5 to sell better than the 4. This is the more popular foldable form factor and unlike book foldables, other manufacturers do not have the same hardware advantage on the flip side.

      Redditors don't seem to be happy about the new screen, so we will see how that part of it plays out.

        I sold my Flip 4 after a couple of months - too paranoid about breaking it

          I really find this form factor appealing, but I would only go for it when they are able to match the cameras and battery of smallest representative of the S line.

            Foldable flip phones haven't looked better since 2020-2021. Not a fan of the Z Flip 5 design or the Razr 40 Ultra. Hopefully, Samsung can straighten the bottom of the cover display in next year's version with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

When the only alternatives are other expensive phones or cheap garbage the Flip at $999 doesn't seem like such a bad value plus it has a cool factor that even Apple can't match.

                    I agree. It is an expensive technology, thus unaffordable.
                    I'm talking about the middle and lower classes.

                      Won't make much difference if Samsung still refuses to put DeX in Z Flip. Motorola and Huawei have no problem giving Ready For and EMUI Desktop for their RAZR 2022 and P50 Pocket.
