Samsung Omnia turns i907 with US UMTS bands, FCC approves

Today, leaked info at the US FCC website revealed that the US HSDPA-enabled Samsung Omnia is bound to the AT&T network as Samsung i907 Omnia...

      att gets omnia too besides iphone. interesting. i love tmobile but i'll probably switch if att offers this phone. finally some good phones in U.S.

                    No worries. FCC also approved a CDMA version i910 for Verizon Wireless. GSMarena didn't report it as they only cater to GSM phones. Hope you will get it by Christmas. Cheers

Th... morei know your right it happens, but its not samsung who make the choise its AT&T i think....they say that some functions should be removed and i don understand why, i guess its rules in the country or something, samething for Nokia in us, i read that some carrier wants Nokia to remove Nokia Maps from the phones so that the carrier can provide its own nav system, nokia refued and thats why its not a big market for N95 and so on

                            I am looking forward to Verizon picking up this phone. I dont think ill ever switch to ATT although they do carry better phones than Verizion. Looks like ill just have to suck it up with the RZR2 i have now.

                              My experience says the specs will be downgraded in i907. They always do. TV out wont be there to start with.

                                I don't like ATT but if I was with ATT I prefer iPhone 3G is better than Omnia.

                                        Don't know the reason you bought it (price drop?) but N78 is just plain ugly! Better keep the N95 8GB.
