I'll just confirm it take them long time to release updates but the performance/stability is overall almost perfect (nothing is perfect). since you have an issue with not being able to see the latest update you should contact them about why you don't have it (carrier lock issue?)

                              Just bring Android 13 on my Honor 70.

                                🚨🚨 The best thing Honor can do, first, has been to separate from Huawei.
                                And second, they must to continue in the line in which they are currently now, with the official Google Services and offering better phones every year.

                                That is, to be what Huawei was being but without being Huawei.

                                This year's Magic 5 Pro is impressive. And sales are showing us.

                                If they plan to make a new OS, then they must have suspicions that they can be banned as Huawei has been. If not, It is not understood.

                                  - Outdated design isn't even a major flaw, and even if it was, Honor is not meaningfully better.
                                  - Inferior hardware is kind of true, but Apple makes up for it with how well optimized their phones are to the point that it doesn't matter (plus their processors are faster).

                                  So where does that leave us? Typical marketing speak with no actual substance in an attempt to generate hype.
