In terms of software, samsung's one ui is too laggy compared to Chinese manufacturers. despite having the overclocked version of snapdragon chip, the benchmark score of the s series phones is always lower than the Chinese phones with the same chipset. however, in terms of camera, I prefer samsung for me samsungs's camera is more realistic.

I had a Huawei P40 Pro for 3 years, untill a motorcycle fell on it and i needed a working phone by the next day, so i got a Samsung S23U (the Best Phone i could get at the moment) and while its an okay phone the camera feels like a downgrade compared to my 3year old P40...

Their software support is universally so bad it's a meme at this point. Samsung on the other hand is literally Apple of Android world in terms of software support length and consistency. I've had many Chinese phones and they were all terrible software wise. I've also had iPhone which was the exact opposite of that. And now I have Galaxy S and it's also on whole different level than Chinese phones when it comes to software.

There is a reason most people consider the S23Ultra to be the best overall flagship of 2023 so far.
The rest of you can go pay more for Xiaomi 13 ultra for better camera.

S23U post processing is terrible. Bright photos are unrealistically darkened it looks terrible, halos in night photos, noisy, or smothened to the level where it looks like oil painting. Turning off all HDRs, etc. didn't help. S23U camera is the biggest letdown of the phone...

Then you have the choice of using vivid if you want saturation. EVEN APPLE'S GIVING CHOICES NOW SMH

Most likely they will increase capture time and improve the RAW to JPEG processing, gimmick, S23 Ultra is already behind some of the new flagships in terms of image quality.
